Cat. No. 220 003	50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Albumin was added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H₂O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C to -80°C until use. Antibodies should be stored at +4°C when still lyophilized. Do not freeze!

Background

The membrane palmitoylated protein 5 (MPP 5), also referred to as PALS 1, belongs to the membrane associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) protein family. It is a multi adaptor protein that interacts via its PSD-95/Dlg/ZO-1 (PDZ) and L-27 domains with the proteins Crb 1, Crb 3 and Patj. It has been shown to be involved in the establishment of apicobasal cell polarity.
