Synaptic Systems

Dear newsletter subscriber,

I would like to draw your attention to our new monoclonal rat antibodies which all stain proteins that play an important role in the immune system and have been especially developed for IHC-P in mouse samples. CD 45R, also referred to as Leucocyte Common Antigen (LCA) or Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor type C (PTPRC), is an often used leucocyte marker. The antibody was raised against a conserved region and detects all isoforms of CD 45R in IHC-P applications. The CD 4 and CD 8a antibodies can be used as T-cell markers and show excellent results also in difficult samples.
New in our portfolio is a chicken antibody against Acetylcholinesterase (AChE). This enzyme hydrolyzes the neurotransmitter acetylcholine at neuromuscular junctions and cholinergic synapses and thus terminating the signal. The antibody shows superior results in IHC-P applications and is, therefore, ideally suited for co-staining experiments.
New is also a rabbit antibody against RNF 126, an E3 Ubiquitin ligase, a Guinea pig antiserum against the Ribeye A domain and and a chicken antibody against CNP 1, a marker for oligodendrocytes. A chimeric monoclonal rabbit VGAT antibody, based on our very successful anti-VGAT clone 117G4 and a monoclonal mouse antibody against RFP complete the list.
