Cat. No. 131 103 purified antibody	50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Rabbit serum albumin was added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H₂O to get a 1mg/ml solution of antibody in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C until use.
Cat. No. 131 103C2 purified antibody, fluorescence-labeled	50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen, fluorescence-labeled with Oyster^® 488. Rabbit serum albumin was added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H₂O to get a 1mg/ml solution of antibody in PBS. Either add 1:1 (v/v) glycerol, then aliquot and store at -20°C until use, or store aliquots at -80°C without additives. Reconstitute immediately upon receipt! Immunogen	Synthetic peptide HSLEGLIEAYRTNAED (aa 510 - 525 in rat) coupled to key-hole limpet hemocyanin via an added N-terminal cysteine residue.
Reactivity	Human, rat, mouse; other species not tested yet.
Specificity	Specific for VGAT.
Remarks	VGAT aggregates after boiling, making it necessary to run SDS-PAGE only with non-boiled samples. These antibodies are intended for labeling of recycling synaptic vesicles at inhibitory nerve terminals by adding to living neurons. Further details see Martens et al. 2008.
