Polyclonal rabbit antibody 1, C-terminus
Cat. No. 145 003 purified antibody	50 µg specific antibody, lyophilized. Affinity purified with the immunogen. Rabbit serum albumin was added for stabilization. For reconstitution add 50 µl H₂O to get a 1mg/ml solution of antibody in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C until use.

Immunogen	Synthetic peptide CLPSDSSPQLQQEQP (aa 1292 - 1308 in isoform 2) coupled to key-hole limpet hemocyanin via an added N-terminal cysteine residue.
Reactivity	Rat, mouse, hamster; other species not tested yet.
Specificity	Recognizes all isoforms of synaptojanin 1.
Remarks	Running SDS-PAGE with non-boiled samples gives stronger signals.

Control peptide for antibody 1
Cat. No. 145-0P	100 µg lyophilized peptide. For reconstitution add 100 µl H₂O to get a 1mg/ml solution in PBS. Then aliquot and store at -20°C until use. Control peptides should also be stored at -20°C when still lyophilized!
Recommended dilution	Optimal concentrations should be determined by the end-user.
Remarks	This control peptide consists of the synthetic peptide (CLPSDSSPQLQQEQP) that has been used for immunization. It has been tested in preadsorption experiments and blocks efficiently and specifically the corresponding signal in Western blots. The amount of peptide needed for efficient blocking depends on the titer and on the affinity of the antibody to the antigen.
