Our fluorescence labeled antibodies are conjugated to Oyster dyes from Denovo Biolabels which allow the usage of established CyDye fluorescence detection systems. Oyster-488 has similar exitation and emission properties as Cy2, Oyster-550 as Cy3, and Oyster-650 is comparable to Cy5.
For our custom antibody labeling service Oyster-500 is also available.
Oyster dyes do not form dimers and therefore exhibit less internal quenching. This allows a higher labeling degree and consequently brighter conjugates.
